Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0
By digital transformation / Industry 4.0 we mean the process of adapting by enterprises a broad catalogue of digital solutions in industrial production, service delivery and business models. In healthcare, this process includes the use of solutions from:
- Big Data
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR)
- Automation and robotics
- Additive manufacturing
- Information and communication technologies
- M2M and H2M communication
All with an appropriate level of security for solutions used to design, manage, monitor and optimise production and logistics processes.
IMI 2.0 – Strategy for the Future
IMI 2.0 is a comprehensive strategy for the development of the Institute of Innovative Medicine through digitalisation, new business models for online service delivery using AI and Virtual Reality and Metaverse technologies.
Its goal is for the Institute to achieve the status of a Research and Development Centre (R&D Centre) and to develop innovative technologies such as:
- Patient–doctor communication applications and platforms
- Advanced screening programmes and health monitoring
- Deployment of mHealth and innovative wellness programmes
- R&D work in anti-ageing prevention and extending healthy life
International Cooperation: Singapore Project
The Institute of Innovative Medicine has begun international cooperation under the new digital transformation programme with Singapore leaders: ACTXA and Activate Interactive.
This cooperation focuses on health prevention and building innovative wellness programmes and delivering services using sensors and mobileHealth. The offering will include, among other things, screening wellness tests for individuals, company employees, local governments and insurance companies, with generation of personalised reports and health improvement plans.
A network of medical clinics providing coordinated care using the Longevity Health System technology and the Amigoo platform is planned.
